Sub-regional meetings

Two sub-regional meetings took place in September 2010 as part of the European Autism Action 2020 consultation process. These meetings brought representatives from as many European countries as possible to discuss their national challenges and successes around autism services, research, policy, advocacy and public health data collection. Representatives were invited to give their contribution using a similar format as in the Panel of Experts meeting held in Luxembourg in March 2010.

The Panel of Experts meeting, these two sub-regional meetings and the online consultation process create the platform for European Autism Action 2020. Information gathered during this intensive consultation process will form the framework of the strategic public health plan for autism, European Autism Action 2020.
