Conference hosts

The European Autism Action 2010 Conference is hosted by Irish Autism Action.

Irish Autism Action was formed by a group of parents who took a public stance in relation to the needs and rights of their children. Irish Autism Action (IAA) is an umbrella body currently representing parent groups, support groups and schools for those on the autistic spectrum across Ireland.

The main function of the IAA has been advocacy on the national stage and we have been successful in raising issues at ministerial levels of government since our inception. The real strength of our organisation has been in the strength of our member groups. Since our inception we have all benefited from information sharing and campaigning collectively. We are delighted and proud to host the European Autism Action 2010 Conference and to play a leading role in this important initiative.
